I live, love, and write in New York City and sometimes other cities too.
My work has appeared many places, including Marie Claire, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, The Manifest-Station, Cosmonauts Avenue, and SELF. My syndicated advice column, Ask Erin, can be read each week on ravishly.com. I am also the Managing Editor at Ravishly.
I was the recipient of a 2012 Eric Hoffer Editor's Choice Prize for my story, "Last House at the End of the Street," which was published in the Best New Writing 2012 anthology. My essay, "Free," was published in the Stigma Fighters Anthology: Volume 3 in 2017.
My latest project, coming February 25, 2020 from HarperCollins | Park Row Books, is Strung Out, a memoir about my decade-long battle with opiate addiction that explores the very nature of why people do drugs, casting light on the larger opiate crisis, written with the intention to destigmatize the topic of drug addiction.
I am represented by Jeff Kleinman and Erin Harris of Folio Literary Management.
When I'm not writing, I'm probably watching Beverly Hills, 90210.
